I was wondering how long it would take for the rampant abuse of Government funds by FAS to hit the news. In a way, I’m surprised it did at all because of the number of Fianna Fail party faithful who were involved. They’ve been at it since at least 2001. They spent far too much [...]

Saw this article in the Irish ‘Independent’ just now and thought my God, how horrific….

Horrific it was yes but she didn’t actually flush her baby down the toilet. Of course this rag of a ‘newspaper’ draws you in with a misleading headline so people imagine a scenario before they actually read it (if they do [...]

Good pal of Bertie Ahern and major player in the Drumcondra Mafia, Joe Burke (former Head of Dublin Port Co.) has had charges against him dropped in relation to an alleged sexual assault 11 months ago.
It was alleged that he sexually assaulted a much younger woman in a house in Malahide following a night out [...]

Well it’s 5.15pm Thursday 20th November, almost exactly two months since having a part of my lung chopped off. I had my first follow up appointment with the surgeon which also involved an X-Ray.
I arrived at the hospital at 3.15, nice and early for my 3.40 appointment. Straight down for the X-Ray, passing some nice [...]

If there’s anyone who can deliver bad news and still make you feel warm and happy then it’s got to be Gerry Fleming. He can say things like “Scattered heavy showers will eventually become widespread and become increasingly wintry” or maybe “well it’s not looking like there will be any improvement until at least the [...]
Respectable Rugby Player Shot Dead instead of Knacker

A innocent middle class Rugby Player was shot dead yesterday in a terrible accident which should have seen a track suited working class guilty knacker gunned down instead.
Incredibly it seems the two men looked alike which caused the gunman to make the terrible mistake of shooting the well respected and highly thought of Rugby Club [...]

Listen to this song and tell me if you know where you’ve heard the piano bit before? It’s a complete and utter lift off an old and popular hit. I just can’t think of it but any muso will know it straight off.
Is it a very cheap rip off or is it actually a homage???
