I have had to cut back to 1997 levels recently. In order not to make people redundant in work, we have all decided to live like paupers and have no lives to speak of. So we all have a job but no life. We’re down about 40% on our salaries. I have become more acquainted with MBNA. They do good cop bad cop by the way. I haven’t had a meal out with friends for over six weeks. Fivers are the new tenners. Christmas really will be one day this year. I have postponed the valeting of my car until 2011. I really hope it doesn’t break down.
The holiday in Senegal will have to wait… unless I drive there, down through France, Spain. Over to Morocco and then down the coast camping on beaches along the way. Maybe take six weeks out. Should be plenty time, shouldn’t it? Maybe I won’t come back.
Hmm. Anyone got an old 4×4 for sale?

Says here the alternator is pretty important
Yeah, but what a great attitude/philosophy to take. I hope it comes back to you in spadeloads, or bucketloads, nah, in truckloads.
I hope so too LK. But I know true wealth is my health
It’s a bitch, isn’t it, HM, especially since none of it had anything to do with us.
It’s great that you’re fighting so hard for your staff I know you think a lot of them since they were so good when you were ill.
Hope it all works out too.
BTW, I didn’t know MBNA had a good cop.
They were Tinman, they were great. We have a low turnover of staff and it’s because we try to enjoy ourselves while working. The thought of letting any go is very upsetting. But unless we get back to levels of business we had in 2007, we have to do something to save most of the jobs.
